Bhagam Bhag is returning on screen after 18 years with a much-awaited sequel. The sources have revealed that the movie’s production house Shemaroo Entertainment is working on the sequel of the blockbuster 2006 comedy film. Nevertheless, an official announcement hasn’t been unveiled till now. Amidst all the speculations, the producers are confirmed to be finally making the sequel of the blockbuster comedy franchise. Additionally, the film is also under the scripting stage.
Backed by Shemaroo Entertainment, Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions is also coming across as one of financiers of the movie.

Apart from being the producer of the movie Sarita Ashwin is also coming forward as the script writer in which they are also working.
Moreover, Sarita also opened up about working on the script of the movie, along with the reason she’s taking a lot of time to design the sequel. However, the wait is finally over now.
The producer noted, “Because a special film like Bhagam Bhag deserves a sequel that’s just as special when the time was right, we decided to take the plunge.”
For the unknown, she has been the creative supporter behind her husband, Ashwin Varde who is known for his producer’s films in blockbuster movies like Boss, Mubarakan, Kabir Singh, OMG-2, and Khel Khel Mein.
The CEO of Shemaroo Entertainment, Hiren Gada also agreed with their fellow producer noting, “We are excited to partner with an incredible team to create a film that will continue the legacy of its predecessor by bringing more laughter, fun, and entertainment.”
If you’re a fan of the movie then you’ll not be disappointed with the sequel as well as the makers promise that the sequel will be “madder, crazier, and funnier.
If the reports are true the movie is anticipated to kick-start the filming schedule in mid 2025. Although there aren’t many details about the complete cast, Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal are likely to come back in their popular roles like the previous part. On the other hand, there’s no confirmation on who will direct as the first movie was directed by Priyadarshan who has been part of blockbuster comedy pieces like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiya, and Hungama.
