The first teaser of the much-anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is finally out! On Friday, 27th September this Anees Bazmee directorial, who also directed the second installment of the series, marked the return of Vidya Balan as the iconic Manjulika. Balan has been part of the franchise since its first release in 2007 as this popular courtesan ghost.
The first Bhool Bhulaiyaa starred Akshay Kumar and Shiney Ahuja. Both of the actors were absent from the second and third sequels. Moreover, Bazmee who is notable for films like Welcome, No Entry, and Hulchul has also replaced Priyadarshan as the director of the film. Let’s check out the details we get from the teaser.
The things not to miss in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 teaser
The teaser starts with the iconic audio of ‘Ami Je Tomar’ revealing the face of Vidya.
The video shows a nod to the terrifying scene from the first film, where Vidya’s character Avni furiously lifts a bed with her bare hands. However, the bed is replaced with a heavy chair as she screams at the top of her lungs while lifting it with rage.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is back in his quirky avatar of Rooh Baba. The actor’s character is a ghost hunter of sorts, who seemingly has been in charge of the task of capturing the terrific ghost of Manjulika.
This time, Triptii Dimri replaces Kira Advani to play Kartik’s love interest. On top of that, it is also speculated that Madhuri Dixit is going to be a part of this upcoming film. However, there isn’t any glimpse of her in the clip.
As for the movie’s crew, Aakash Kaushik is serving as the screenplay and dialogue writer of the film. Looking at the teaser it isn’t hard to say that Bhool Bhulaiyaa is focusing on its horror portion this time rather than a comedy. After the massive success of Stree 2, the audience has certainly become more fond of this horror-comedy genre. Therefore, this upcoming film has created a high anticipation among the viewers.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be making a box-office clash with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again which has a multi-starrer cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will hit the theatres on November 1 on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
