Billboard Music Awards 2021 announced its finalists during The List Livestream on Thursday, April 29.
The award show will be hosted by Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall and comedian LaLa Milan. Artists such as Anitta, Finneas and Maggie Baird, Jay Pharoah, Jon Batiste, Luis Fonsi, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland will also make an appearance.
The event will have special guests from the world of music, pop, culture. Fashion, sports and tech. They will reveal this year’s finalists. The hosts of the event will break down the award categories, achievements and records.
When are Billboard Music Awards (2021) streaming?
Billboard’s official social media account showed the live stream of the nominations on April 29.
According to Billboard, the music award show will air live on NBC on May 23 at 8:00 pm EST. In India, it will air on May 24 at 5:30 am.
The live streaming of the show will take place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
A look at Billboard Music Awards (2021) nominations
The majority of the nominations are led by singer The Weeknd. He has about 16 nominations for his After Hours record and the chart-topping song Blinding Lights.
DaBaby’s hit Rockstar gained nominations in three categories – top rap song, top streaming song and top collaboration. In total, he earned 11 nods.
K-pop band BTS, Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa are nominated in four categories each.
Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga have earned three nominations.
Further, we have nominations for the top five categories.

Pop Smoke and Juice WRLD were later nominated for various other awards which were among the other highlights of the nominations.
Juice WRLD’s Legends Never Die became a sensation after his death at the age of 21 in December 2019. He also featured in the nominations for the Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist and Top Billboard 200 album.
Pop Smoke died last February at the age of 20. He earned himself 10 nominations. His album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon contain superhit songs like For the Night, What You Know About Love and Dior.
He was also nominated for the same categories as was Juice WRLD.
