As per the sources of multiple outlets, actress Yerin Ha has joined the cast for the 4th season of the much acclaimed Netflix drama as Benedict’s love interest Sophie Beckett. Needless to say, it’s incredible news for the fans who were eagerly waiting to see the face of the new lady, Bridgerton. The third season shows the most eligible bachelor exploring his sexuality with Lady Tilley Arnold (Hannah New) and her friend Paul Suarez (Lucas Aurelio). Yerin Ha is The New Lady Bridgerton
As per Variety, season 4’s logline reads, “The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down—until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”
Hope you’ve understood that the Lady in Silver is none other than Sophie Beckett. After lord Bridgerton met this lovely lady at the ball he was not aware that she was going to be the most important person in his life.
The story of this upcoming season will be adapted from Julia Quinn’s An Offer From a Gentleman.
Who is Sophie Beckett?
The storyline of the new character hasn’t been disclosed in the series. However, as per the book, Sophie is the Illegitimate daughter of an earl. Despite being the daughter of a respectful man because of her illegitimate status she has to serve as a maid for his wife and stepdaughters after his death.

Yerin has been part of many notable projects including the upcoming Paramount+ series Halo (2022–2024) and the Stan miniseries Bad Behaviour (2023). Apart from the Netflix series, she’ll also be seen in the upcoming Dune: Prophecy.
