BTS’ Jungkook announces a new documentary. The upcoming project will give a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes of his making of solo album Golden and heartwarming moments with his fellow bandmates. The singer who is currently serving under the mandatory military revealed the name of the official documentary is Jungkook: I Am Still. The news comes from the official BTS account that shared a video of the youngest member of the global sensation band delivering the news to his fans. The singer was seen saying in the video, “Starting with my first official solo track, Seven, and throughout the promos for my studio album, Golden, I had a year filled with golden moments of happiness. Thanks for all the love that you gave me. Today I’m here to share some really amazing news. with everyone.”
The ‘Seven’ singer continues, “For me, Golden was a series of continuous new challenges, the long journey that led up to a long album filled with songs of diverse genres. All the moments I connected with ARMY from all around the world through music and the many behind-the-scenes stories that I didn’t get a chance to share. It tells the full story of Jungkook as a solo artist.”
In addition, a note from the Weverse further explained that the documentary will give an insight on the eight-month journey of the 26-year-old in becoming a global sensation.
With his captivating voice and incredible performances, the Golden Maknae of BTS (youngest member) has conquered millions from all over the world. The singer will also express his love for his fans, ARMY (The Name of BTS Fandom) through this documentary.
The makers shared a special note about the upcoming venture adding, “Get a sneak peek into how Jungkook prepared for his first solo album, Golden, witness scenes from his lively, internationally beloved performances at various venues, and discover never-before-released behind-the-scenes footage revealing Jungkook’s innermost thoughts—all in his first documentary film.”
Needless to say, it’s incredible news for the BTS fans who were eagerly waiting for their upcoming project.
Apart from Jungkook, the band consists of six members namely Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, and V.
Jungkook: I Am Still will be streaming from September 18.
