BTS’s V and IU’s Heartwarming Collaboration: Love Wins All

South Korean pop star IU dropped his heartwarming collaboration with BTS’s V. On January 24 the singer dropped her new pre-released single Love Wins All with this BTS sensation. Although V doesn’t sing in this song, his breathtaking visuals are an incredible treat for the fans. This was also marked as his first-ever solo collaboration with a South Korean artist. The music video of V and IU depicts an emotional story 

Love Wins All

The story of the video is set in a scenario of a zombie apocalypse where two young lovers are trying to fulfil their prolonged desires just by imagination. The duo was seen navigating through the horrific chaos created by some dangerous monsters. Their brief moment of joy which comes in the middle of this chaos is extremely adorable and at the same time quite heartbreaking. The video highlights the themes of joy, love and tragedy.

Talking about the song, IU’s intense vocals perfectly matched the bittersweet moments in the video. Touching the essence of a melancholic mood with an absolute inevitably the lyrics of this song has the power to stay with the listener for a long time.

Listeners can embark on the journey of love and togetherness with the sensational V and IU. 

On top of that, it’s been a really long time since V, originally named Kim Tae Hyung, took up an acting gig since his 2016 role in the Korean series Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. Needless to say, Armies (The name of the BTS fandom) will be extremely proud to see his outstanding acting talent after these years. Showing a both powerful and nuisance side on screen is only possible for a talented actor like V. 

On the other hand,  IU, originally named Lee Ji Eun, has also come back after 3 years since the release of his 2021 album Lilac. Her beautiful visuals and enchanting voice are enough to make the spellbound.

Apart from that, V,28, who is currently serving in Korea’s mandatory military service since December 2023, marks this music video as his last appearance ahead of the service. Moreover, as per the behind-the-scenes of the video the 30-year-old songstress revealed V filmed this video a week before his enlistment.

Needless to say, like the video the offscreen scenario is also bittersweet for the BTS fans.
