The 28-year-old host talked about the evolution of the famous Spotify show. Her interview with Hailey Biber was the most famous one where they talked about Biber’s relationship timeline with her husband Justin Bieber.
“Sometimes people aren’t ready to do that and I’ve had people circle back around months later and be ready. It really is just a give or take of where they’re at, but I do think that Call Her Daddy now has this expectation of, ‘Let’s keep it real.'”- Cooper said.
Call Her Daddy is one of the most streamed podcasts on Spotify thanks to Cooper. She also acknowledged the fanbase of the podcast known as “Daddy Gang.”
“I’ve got to provide them with entertainment while also respecting my guests.”- the host added.
In 2018, the podcast was launched by Cooper and her then-roommate Sofia Franklyn. The show was then acquired by biocentric Barstool Sports. Within just two months the show was downloaded more than 12 million times. After noticing its popularity Spotify bought it for $60 million in the summer of 2021.
The show is always on the list of podcast lovers. The show’s natural yet great growth is really exciting for Cooper as well as her fans.
