Camila Cabello looked back at the emotional rollercoaster of her life. During an interview with Puss Puss in an interview published Feb. 21 the singer revealed to showcase the emotions flows of her life on her upcoming fourth album. Although she hinted it was influenced by her difficult relationship she was reluctant to unveil whether it is her ex Swan Mendes. The former couple who dated for nearly two years ended their relationship in 2021 before they briefly rekindled the spark last spring. Let’s check out the complete details of this story.
The album is about Camila’a sitting with this feeling of understanding
The singer told the outlet, “It’s me sitting with this feeling of understanding that I feel really confused as a 26-year-old.”
Moreover, the ‘Havana’ singer continued, “I really felt I was in love with this person. Now I feel kind of lonely and small and weird, but at the same time, I’m an adult and I feel so strong in other areas of my life, but not this one.”
Apart from Mendes the singer who also parted ways with Lox Club CEO Austin Kevitch last year said the album isn’t about love.
“There’s just the wrestling of those feelings without it being kind of neat or in a box. You can’t really say that it’s a sad song, you can’t really pin it down,” Camila explained. “It’s just kind of me wrestling with these feelings and me kind of being really present on a particular feeling and exploring it.”
However, talking about her current state of life she described it as “chaotic and brave.” Her confidence even increased since she got new blonde locks, which have helped get her “unhinged sparkle” back.
Camila who collaborated with Shawn in in 2019’s hit song “Señorita” announced their breakup via an official statement on their Instagram.
It reads, “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever, We started out relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”
Although the couple tried to rekindle their romance last year and even shared a kiss at Coachella 2023 they are unlikely to get involved now.
Talking about the current man of her life she has been linked to rapper Drake as the two were spotted together in Turks and Caicos in December.
