Telugu superstar Jr NTR shared an update on the much-anticipated sequel to Devara. While the first installment of the franchise has hit the theatres, the RRR star revealed a few sequences of the sequel have already been filmed. Not only this, but the team is also taking more detailed initiatives to ensure the second part lives up to the expectations of the audience. The part of Devara which marked the Bollywood debut of Janhvi Kapoor has garnered enormous attention from the audience, making fans eagerly wait for the sequel. With the upcoming venture, it strives to deliver an even greater cinematic experience.

To know more let’s check out the details of NTR’s interview.

Jr NTR said that the production is taking a little more time to etch part part

In a recent interview, NTR said of the sequel, “We’ve shot for a few sequences, but now we have this responsibility because part one is doing well. We will take a little more time to etch part two into something bigger and better, and something that excites audiences a bit more. We will be writing it, and I just want my director, Koratala Siva, to take a month off.”

However, ahead of all of the anticipation, there isn’t still a blue lining as the movie is going to take a while to finally hit the theatres.

The 41-year-old added, “I told him, ‘You know what? This is my gift. I said I am going to send you away from Hyderabad. Go for a month and a half, just go, have fun, and don’t think about anything. Come back, and then we will start writing for it again.’ Let’s just refresh, re-energise, rethink, recalculate, recalibrate, and then we will write Devara 2.”

In fact, the first part despite getting mixed reviews from the critics becomes the second-biggest opener of the year with the sum getting higher with every weekend.

The plot of Devara 1

The story revolves around the titular role of a village chief’s son who secretly continues his father’s mission to end smuggling. In his mysterious expedition, he pretends to be weak and maintains the illusion that his father is still alive to confuse his enemies.

As part is yet to hit the theatres you can still enjoy Devara 1 which is running in theatres from September 27.
