Jr NTR’s upcoming much-anticipated film ‘Devara: Part 1’ finally has a trailer release date. On September 7, the makers unveiled the trailer release date with a dashing new poster of the actor. Apart from NTR, actress Janhvi Kapoor will also feature as the leading lady in the movie. The film marked the actress’s debut in Telugu. Moreover, actors like Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko will feature in pivotal roles.
Directed by Koratala Siva and bankrolled by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, with presentation by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram this film will serve as NTR’s first film after Oscar-winning RRR. Let’s check out some interesting details of the upcoming film.
Jr NTR stunned in an all-black look in the Devara poster
The 41-year-old looks dashing in an all-black avatar in the film’s poster while waves crash around him.
The caption of the post reads, “Celebrate today. Conquer in a couple of days. Face your fears head on from September 10th with #DevaraTrailer (sic).”
As per the poster, the movie’s trailer will be released on September 10.
Devara: Part 1 also set a new record by becoming the fastest Indian film to sell more than 15,000 tickets in the US. Needless to say, it is because of NTR’s fan-following after the massive global success of S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR.
Meanwhile, Janhvi who is making her Telegu debut also shared her excitement.
She shared,“Somehow it makes me feel closer to my mom, to be in that environment, as well as to hear and speak in that language. It just felt like it was the right time, I felt I was gravitating towards it.”
The film achieved this incredible landmark within days of the film’s pre-sale tickets becoming available. This achievement undoubtedly showcases the strong buzz revolving around this upcoming venture ahead of its official release.
The makers also celebrated this milestone with a note that read, “Fastest 15K+ Tickets sold for any Indian film in the USA.”
As for the movie, it revolves around the titular character played by NTR while Janhvi plays the female lead Thangam, and Saif will portray the role of Bhaira. Initially announced as a stand-alone film later it was shared that it will divide into two parts.
Devara: Part 1 will hit the theatres on September 27.
