Diljit Dosanjh is undoubtedly doing justice to his G.O.A.T status. The singer-actor who recently performed in Mumbai to a packed stadium, promised that his upcoming Vancouver Tour, Dil- Luminati, would be a memorable one. Being a man of his word the performance which took place at BC Place Stadium, on Saturday, created history for being the largest Punjabi show ever held outside India. To express his gratitude the Amar Singh Chamkila star took to Instagram to share photos and a video capturing the memorable event. The 40-year-old said in the video, “Na Roop, na rekh, na rang kich… (He has no form, no shape, no color; God is beyond the three qualities).He who is blessed by Guru Nanak, is the happiest. Color, form, and shape are external. It is His blessing that brought these people to the stadium. If it wasn’t his wish, nobody would have come to my shows.”
In the video, we can see the crowd going crazy with excitement donning an all-black ensemble while performing his blockbuster album GOAT. Moreover, celebrities are also seen showering praises on the singer. Neha Dhupia declared that “we are living in the era of Diljit Dosanjh,” while Rhea Kapoor shared, “God’s child @diljitdosanjh. Love Ya”. Joining the stars fans also outpoured a lot of praise, with one user describing Dosanjh as “God sent in human form” and another declaring him as “Punjab’s Michael Jackson.” The singer also charmed the audience as he crooned “Main Hoon Punjabi” from his latest film.
Needless to say, the singer is worthy of praise since The Dil-Luminati tour’s immense success was evident in the sold-out tickets for the Vancouver concert. As per the reports of Moneycontrol, the front-row seats for the afternoon show were priced between $482.79 and $713.89. Dosanjh made a crowd of 54,000 fans enchanted with his incredible talent.
Moreover, six-year-old Aanakh Bhullar took the stage with his idol performing Bhangra while noting, “I like his dancing moves. And I love him. He’s the best singer.”
Apart from singing Diljit is making his awe with his acting talent as well in his recent Netflix film Imtiaz Ali’s musical biopic Amar Singh Chamkila, along with actress Parineeti Chopra.
