Meanwhile, it has been stated that the total value of Dominion’s overseas collection is $250 million. The picture grossed an impressive $389 million during its three-day opening weekend.
According to AP news, the Monday collection contributed to the film’s crossing of the $400 Million milestones, giving it one of the films with the largest collections in the franchise’s history. Jim Orr, chief of domestic distribution for Universal, was interviewed for the study and reported as stating, “We are delighted beyond measure. The crowd for Jurassic World: Dominion was extraordinarily diverse and insanely excited.” The film scored 59 out of 100 points from reviewers at Metacritic, while Rotten Tomatoes critics only gave it a 30 percent. Paul Dergarabedian, a senior analyst for Comscore, disclosed this information: “You would like to see dinosaurs on the big screen, regardless of what reviewers think.”
A similar estimation was presented in the review published on Filmibeat, which said, “Despite receiving a variety of reviews, the most of which were negative, the movie is nevertheless anticipated to do well at the box office because of its visual effects. Fans are encouraged to see the film since it has a diverse ensemble of dinosaurs and because it reunites some of the series’ original cast members.”
