Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a forthcoming American superhero smasher film dependent on the Marvel Comics character Doctor Strange.

Delivered by Marvel Studios and conveyed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is planned to be the continuation of Doctor Strange (2016) and the 28th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The movie is directed by Sam Raimi from a script composed by Jade Bartlett and Michael Waldron.

The movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, along with Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Xochitl Gomez. In the film, Strange releases an unspeakable abhorrent as he faces a companion turned-adversary.

Doctor Strange director and co-author Scott Derrickson had plans for a spin-off by October 2016. He endorsed to return as chief in December 2018, when Cumberbatch was affirmed to return.

The film’s title was reported in July 2019 alongside Olsen’s inclusion, while Bartlett was recruited to compose the film that October.

Derrickson ventured down as director in January 2020, referring to innovative contrasts.

The following month, Waldron joined the task, and Raimi took over as the director by April 2020.

Recording started in November 2020 in London however was required to be postponed in January 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Creation continued by March 2021 and finished up in mid-April in Somerset. Shooting likewise happened in Surrey.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is planned to be delivered in the United States on March 25, 2022, as a component of Phase Four of the MCU.
