Blackheads are annoying and tricky. No matter how much you take care of your skin, they just show up sometimes.

But if you want to get rid of these unwanted friends, these home remedies can help.

Given below are some effective home remedies that can help reduce your blackheads with the help of natural face masks.

Baking Soda and Water

Baking Soda neutralizes your skin’s pH imbalance as well as exfoliates the skin. It removes dirt, oil and dead skin cells.

For this remedy, mix two tablespoons of baking soda with two tablespoons of water to form a thick paste. Then apply it on your face and gently massage, rinse off with warm water.

Don’t forget to moisturize in the end.

Frequency: Two or three days a week

Coconut Oil and Sugar

Blackheads can occur not only on your face but also on your body. Exfoliating your skin to get rid of dead skin cells by using coconut oil and sugar is a helpful remedy.

Mix coconut oil and sugar to make a do-it-yourself body scrub. This is a must try remedy, use it for a month and you’ll see the results.

At-Home Pore Strip

You can use milk and honey and make your own pore strips. Milk has lactic acid, which helps remove dead skin cells and oil.

To make your own pore strip, mix one tablespoon of whole milk with one tablespoon of organic, raw honey and microwave for about 10 seconds.

When the mixture is cool enough, apply it to the areas of your face that have blackheads. Then place a clean cotton strip on top of it.

Let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then gently peel the cotton strip, rinse and moisturize your face.

Green Tea

Green tea can help decrease your skin’s oil production and works as a great antioxidant.

Mix one teaspoon of dry green tea leaves with one teaspoon of water and massage it into the affected areas.

After that, rinse it off and apply a moisturizer.

Frequency: Two or three days a week

Tea Tree Oil

According to experts applying tea tree oil can help with the blackheads problem. It works in part by killing bacteria.

You can use various creams and soaps that contain tea tree oil, or it’s available as an essential oil in the market.

 At-Home Exfoliation

To treat blackheads on your chin and nose make an exfoliation mixture with brown sugar, honey, and lemon juice.

Combine one tablespoon of brown sugar, two tablespoons of lemon, and one tablespoon of raw honey.

Mix it well and apply it to your face in a circular motion. Massage for five minutes before rinsing it off and applying moisturizer.
