Emily Blunt co-starring with Ryan Gosling in the upcoming film ‘ The Fall Guy’

Emily Blunt joins the cast of Universal’s upcoming adaptation of Lee Majors classic TV series The Fall Guy. This film already has a power-packed cast including Academy nominated actor Ryan Gosling. Moreover,with Blunt’s entry it seems to add more A-listers to the list. Official sources confirmed the Universal also finalised a release of the Film which is March 1,2024.

Pre-production details of ‘The Fall Guy’

The film ‘The Fall Guy’ is loosely based on the Lee Majors classic TV series of the same name. This 1980s series follows the character of Colt who is a Hollywood stuntman, and sometimes works as a bounty hunter for extra cash. The premise follows that he uses stuntman tricks to catch the criminals. Moreover, this new film adaptation of the series seems to be an adventurous action film. However,the makers did not reveal the plot details yet. The location is set in Australia.

Talking about the pre-production details,recent box office hit Bullet Train’s director David Leitch will direct and produce this film. Moreover, Ryan Gosling who has been casted as the main lead will co-produce the film as well alongside Leitch,Kelly McCormick and Guymon Casady. According to the reports of Deadline, Emily Blunt also joined the cast recently. Blunt is recently seen in the Disney pic Jungle. Apart from that,she is also starring in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer alongside Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon.She wrapped it’s shoot recently. Moreover, she is also filming the upcoming Netflix drama Pain Hustlers which also starrer Chris Evans.

The Director of the film David Leitch is also a stunt performer, who has previously worked in films like Deadpool 2. It will be amazing to see a stunt performer directing a film based on another stunt performer.

But fans have to wait a long time to catch the film in theatres.
