Emily Blunt has opened up about her parenthood journey with husband John Krasinski. The couple is proud parents of two daughters Hazel and Violet. They got married back in 2010 in Como, Italy. The Devil Wears Prada alum unveiled the facts of her family life in a recent interview with E-news. Let’s look into the details.
Emily Blunt said her daughters don’t really want to watch anything starring them
In an exclusive interview with E-news Blunt said, “I don’t know if any parent thinks they’re ever juggling it well, I’ve just surrendered to: ‘This is our life.'”
The 39-year-old joked that their life” seems to always be in some sort of upheaval.” “I guess that’s all we’ve ever known and it’s all my kids have ever known,”-she added. Later on, she also said her kids love adventure.
The actress said in spite of having two movie stars as parents her daughters didn’t like to watch their films. However, they watched Blunt’s film Mary Poppins Returns, Jungle Cruise, and John Krasinski’s famous series The Office. Blunt said they liked The Office a lot. She also believes her girls are so down-to-earth.
“They’ve got that ownership of us as parents. It’s not they’re not like running to see me in a movie, which keeps you humble.”-the English actress said.
Later on, she was asked if her daughters wanted to rule out a future in show business. To which she responded, “I’m sort of open to it, but it has to be if they want to.”
Hazel was born in 2014 and is currently 8 years old and Violet was born in 2018 and is currently 6 years old.
