Vamos Argentina! This Sunday,18th December FIFA fans watched one of the breathtaking matches of the 2022 World cup. The final match was between France and Argentina. It’s a really tough game for Argentina as France was the champion of the last 2018 world cup. But, the Argentine players prove nothing is impossible for them.

After 90 minutes of jaw-dropping full-time, the result was 2-2. However, in the additional 30 minutes, it became a tie of 3-3 again. But Argentina steals the show on the last penalty tiebreaker. France can’t score before the defense of goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Argentina scored 4 and France scored 2, and Argentina became the World champion after 36 years. Their last victory was in 1986.

Argentina become FIFA Champion for the third time

Around 33 minutes into the match, Argentina got the opportunity to score with a penalty. Messi didn’t disappoint the fans as scored a smooth yet amazing goal. A few minutes after the end of the first half talented midfielder Di Maria scored the second goal for the team. However, in the second half, the match didn’t go easy for them as France got a penalty as well. Young forward Mbappé scored the first goal for the French team. On top of that, Mbappé proved again his talent never gonna faded and within a few minutes scored again. Thus the first 92 minutes of the match ended in a tie of 2-2

However, in the second half of the additional 30 minutes, 35-year-old Messi scored again. When the victory came so close the match went upside down again. France got a penalty and Mbappé scored again. The 23-year-old young lion’s hatric is one of the best things to remember in the match. Therefore, the additional 30 minutes ended in a tie of 3-3 as well.

Moreover, in the tie-breaking Emi Martinez saved the goal by Kingsley Coman, and another french player Aurelien Tchouameni, unfortunately, missed it too.  Paradise, Dybala, and Messi scored first and then Gonzalo Montiel’s goal secured their victory.

It was a great moment for Argentina’s hero Lionel Messi after his 2021 Copa America victory. Needless to say, the icon’s last World Cup became extremely memorable for everyone.
