Singer Gayle opened up about her opening act with Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour of 2023. The Singer is all set to join Swift and apart from her HAIM, Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams, beabadoobee, girl in red, and OWENN also be present in the tour. Gayle gained a lot of appreciation and popularity for her 2022 song ‘abcdefu’. The Eras Tour will take place on 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona. The Young singer also said Swift is her inspiration for making music.
Gayle first met swift in Nashville where she appreciate her song
the 18-year-old singer recalled the moment of first meeting the Grammy winner in Nashville. Talking with E-News on American Music Award 2021 red carpet the singer unveiled a lot of facts about her upcoming tour.
“I was playing at this award show which is called NSAI—Nashville Songwriter Association International which helps songwriters get more rights, royalties and all of that So one of my songs “abc” is getting nominated and it’s a very high honor especially because it’s writers saying, ‘I appreciate the song.'”- the singer said.
She, later on, reflected on the incident of meeting the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer.” I obviously didn’t think she was going to show up, All the sudden I was there and she was there. and I played “abc” and she came up to me and was like, ‘You did such a good job, I love the song’ and was being very complimentary and said some very encouraging things.”
Furthermore, the ‘abcdefu’ singer talked about her admiration for Taylor”Genuinely what she has done for women in Nashville and female songwriters. She showed us we can do it and so many artists and writers look up to her and it meant the world because I wanted to personally thank her for giving me the inspiration to move to Nashville and become a songwriter and I don’t think I would be where I am if it wasn’t for her showing me I could maybe do it.”
