Kanye West discusses the cancellation of his collaboration agreements. Recently, Kanye West has been in the news due to an ongoing issue regarding anti-Semitic comments the musician made. A number of brands that the rapper had a close working relationship with abandoned him as a client as a result of his comments. West returned to Instagram after having his account first banned as a result of his comments.
The rapper responded to brands rejecting him on Instagram by demanding to “see the contracts.” As he addressed his return to Instagram, Kanye also made a reference to Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, in his remarks on being permitted to be on his site once again. “Let’s see the contracts/ The film contracts/ The sports contracts/ The music contracts/ The mortgages,” wrote Kanye in his post. He went on to say, “In one day, Kanye loses USD 2 billion.
West also responded to Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, who last week asked businesses to quit collaborating with the rapper amid the rapper being dumped by brands, and stated, “Emanuel Ari. I lost two billion bucks in a single day.I’m still here, too. These are words of affection. Still, I adore you. God still cares about you. Money does not define who I am. I am a person of the people.” In the past week, West has lost relationships with Adidas, The Gap, and Balenciaga, had his Essentials playlist removed from Apple Music, and been dropped by his CAA reps. According to rumours, Foot Locker stopped down sales of his products and TJ Maxx removed them from their shelves.
Kanye’s comeback to Twitter, Kanye also appeared to return to Twitter after being suspended there following Elon Musk’s appointment as CEO of SpaceX. Musk assumed control of Twitter on Thursday, sacking key executives and offering little explanation of how he plans to realise the goals he has set forth for the significant social media company.
Additionally, he pledged to lift Donald Trump’s suspension from Twitter. However, Musk said on Friday that he had nothing to do with Kanye West’s account being reinstated after it had been previously suspended following the rapper’s posting of anti-Semitic slurs. Kanye was recently asked to leave the Skechers headquarters in California after showing up without notice the day after Adidas dissolved its agreement.
