Lekhara incredibly snatched the gold medal in a dramatic final to successfully defend her Tokyo title. In fact, there were two Indians who won the winning podiums as India’s Mona Agarwal also secured the bronze medal in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 event.

Meanwhile, her contemporary Mona Agarwal gained a bronze medal with a score of 228.7.

After a nail-biting finish, Avani was in second place making a heart-heating competition over her Korean’s Yunri Lee by 0.8 points with only one shot remaining.
