The 3rd match of India vs South Africa’s latest T20 series is nothing less than a cinema. The last-minute smashing knock of Marco Jansen scoring 54 runs off just 17 balls made the audience stick to the edge of their seats. As the match started to slip from the hands of the men in blue they showed their worth with incredible resilience and strategy. The current world champions in this format gained an incredible victory by 11 runs. With this victory, India snatched the lead from the host with 2-1.

Youngsters become the stunner of the match from both sides. Whether it’s the 24-year-old South African All-rounder Marco Jansen or India’s 22-year-old Tilak Verma, it gave cricket lovers a small glimpse of the future of the sport.

Despite losing 6 wickets in only 167 runs South Africa’s all-rounder Marco Jansen slowly started to turn the game in their favour.
Jansen scored the second-fastest fifty at the SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium and the fastest half-century against India in just 16 balls, previously scored by Australua’s Cameron Green who did it in 19 balls.
Thanks to the spell of Arshdeep Singh he dismissed Jansen in the last over saving the Blues from the defeat.
Eventually, the hosts reached 208 on the scoreboard, losing the match by 11 runs.
India once again proved the reason they were hailed as the top team in the T20 format.
The last match of the series is all set to be held on 15th November at the Wanderers Stadium. Therefore it’s only a matter of time to find out if the hosts will manage to tie the series or get defeated.
