ISRAEL PALESTINE CONFLICT

The last few days have been very bloody, violent and really scary for Israel and Palestine.

This Israel-Palestine conflict again became one of the most important issues in the Middle East. This conflict took away the lives of thousands of innocent people.

Palestinians were ready to fight when everyone gathered for Ramadan, they threw stones and bottles at police and police fired stun grenades and rubber-coated bullets, On May 8 violence erupts in East Jerusalem.

Several other countries have expressed “deep concern” over the violence.

Twenty-two Palestinians, including nine children, are killed in the exchange of fire. The Israeli military sent in ground troops on Friday and they are firing on Gaza.

But it’s not a jew vs Muslim fight, it’s a fight or two groups, One had already been living there, and the other was forced to migrate to this land.

The outcome of the war was not at all good, saw a mass refugee crisis where the Palestinians were thrown out of their houses,  Palestine was filled with a majority of Jewish people.

Tensions between Israel security and Palestinians have been worsened, a really sensitive holy site in the old city.

Possible Solutions:
There are two possible solutions to the Palestinian-Israeli crisis. Either one would involve
considerable compromises on both sides.
The “one-state solution” would be for the land of Israel and the Palestinian territories that
it currently occupies to be joined in one country.

The problem of Israel : The problem for Israelis is that the state would no longer be a Jewish state but one that includes an equal number of Palestinian Christians and Muslims.

The problem of Palestine : The problem for Palestinians would be making sure they would have full rights of citizenship.

The two-state solution would mean that both sides would have to give
up their aspirations of controlling the entire area.

Israel would have to give up its control of the occupied territories and would have to withdraw all the settlers from areas that they have
colonized since 1967.

The Palestinians would have to recognize Israel, thus giving up their
claims to territories granted to Israel by the United Nations in 1948 and probably to those taken between 1948 and 1967.

A fair and equitable resolution of the conflict would contribute a great deal to international stability.
