Jenna Ortega recalled the extremely painful filming schedule for ‘Wednesday’. The actress earned a lot of popularity and critical recognition for portraying the role of Wednesday Adams in the popular Netflix series ‘Wednesday’. Although fans enjoy Wednesday’s journey a lot it was not so easy filming it. In a recent Q&A session at a Netflix-hosted event in Hollywood, the actress unveiled a lot of facts.

Jenna Ortega said she “hysterically” burst out crying when she’d answer FaceTime calls from her dad

In a recent Q&A session at a Netflix-hosted event in Hollywood, the 20-year-old recalled the painful schedules. According to Ortega, there were times when the actress didn’t sleep and pulled her hair out. Moreover, she even “hysterically” cried when she’d answer FaceTime calls from her dad and it’s all because of the tight filming schedule.

Previously, in an Interview with Variety, the actress said, “It was show up to set two hours early, do that 12-14 hour day, then go home and then get on a Zoom and have whatever lesson that I had. Or show up to my apartment, my cello teacher was already waiting for me.”

Later on, also added, “It was just constantly going, and if you could on a weekend, if we weren’t shooting the sixth day that week, it was ‘All right, well then, we’ll get your lessons in on that day.'”

Moreover, Jenna even took fencing and cello lessons to play the iconic character. However, it hasn’t been easy either as she didn’t even know the basics of the cello.

She shared, “I didn’t know where my hands were even supposed to go and then I had to make two cellos come out of one cello, which was ridiculous.”

Moreover, the former Disney star also shared her regret over her viral dance in the series. “Even that I still can’t believe because even that was — some of the moves I had planned, some of it was improv. That was one of the scenes I stay awake thinking about because I thought there was so much that I could have done and should have done,” Jenna revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “So the fact that anyone is showing appreciation and try it themselves, it’s not fathomable to me.”

Wednesday has been renewed for the next season.
