Jennifer Aniston paid a homage to Friends co-star Matthew Perry on his death anniversary. Aniston shared some touching photos of herself and Perry together on her official Instagram account.
Perry was found dead on October 28 of last year at the age of 54. The actor was in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home during the time of his passing due to acute effects of ketamine which was later determined as the primary cause of his death. Recently, five people have been charged in connection to his death, among which California physician Dr. Mark Chavez was found guilty earlier this month for conspiring to distribute the substance to the late actor.
Let’s check out the complete details about Aniston’s heartfelt post.
Jennifer Aniston shared some throwback pictures with Matthew Perry
Aniston shared some throwback pictures with the late actor from the set of the iconic sitcom, captioning it, “1 year,” alongside a heart with band aid, and white dove emoji.
The pictures include a black and white shot of herself, Perry, and also the rest of the core cast, including Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer huddling together for a sweet group hug.
The case on Perry’s death is currently under the court. On October 25 the late actor’s stepfather Keith Morrison reflected on the justice they want to get during a joint family interview with Today.
“What I’m hoping, and I think the agencies that got involved in this are hoping,” Morrison explained, “that people who have put themselves in the business of supplying people with the drugs that will kill them—they are now on notice. It doesn’t matter what your professional credentials are. You are going down, baby.”
On the other hand, Perry’s mom Suzanne Morrison is also “thrilled” that charges have been made against the accusers. She also recalled the final conversation with her son at the interview.
“He said, ‘I’m not frightened anymore,’” Suzanne recalled of her son. “And it worried me.”
On top of that, the actor’s half-sister Caitlin Morrison also shared in an interview with Hello magazine published Oct. 23 on how she wants to celebrate the legacy of his brother.
“He had this ability to fill up a room with light,” the 43-year-old said. “When people were in a room with him, he had this magnetic energy. Everybody just had a smile on their face and they clung to everything he said.”
