Jennifer Lawrence is ready to embrace motherhood again.
On October 20, the actress’s rep confirmed to Vogue that she’s expecting her second child with husband Cooke Maroney. Hours after the news came out she was spotted with Maroney flaunting her growing baby bump. The couple are already parents to son Cy, 2 got married in Newport, Rhode Island in October 2019.

Jennifer Lawrence was first spotted with her baby bump during an outing in Los Angeles
Hours after the official announcement Lawrence was spotted in a white t-shirt paired with black pants during a dinner with her husband in Los Angeles. In these pictures a tiny bump has been spotted which heated the pregnancy rumors which later confirmed.
In fact, the Oscar winner’s outing took place on the occasion of her fifth wedding anniversary with Maroney.
Despite being silent about her personal life she’s been vocal about her experience as a new mom. In 2022, the Don’t Look Up star revealed how she named her son after American painter Cy Twombly who is the favourite of her husband.
“It’s so scary to talk about motherhood,” The Hunger Games alum told Vogue. “Only because it’s so different for everybody.”
She added, “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, Now is day one of my life. I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors. Now I love all babies. Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant and I’m like, Awwww, preciousssss.”
Moreover, the actress has also shared an insight on how her son will have a different upbringing than other kids growing in a house of a famous parent.
Lawrence explained to fellow actress Cameron Diaz in a 2023 chat for Interview magazine, “Of course, I’ve contemplated having a child that’s being born into a lifestyle that’s different from his friends. But kids have advantages and disadvantages when they’re born, all of them.”
She continued, “The best thing I can do is just make sure he knows he’s loved, and that he’s our number one priority, and try to be a good example of kindness. I’m sure there will be challenges specifically from my choices and my lifestyle, and we’ll both have to confront that and deal with it when that day comes.”
