Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence embraced motherhood back in February of this year. Since then there has been a lot of buzz regarding the name of her child. All we know is that she gave birth to a baby boy. However, the actress finally revealed the name after seven months. Her fans are extremely excited to know the name of her baby and finally, their wait is over!
What is the name of Jenifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney’s baby boy?
In Voge’s October issue, Lawrence shared a lot of information about her baby boy and her journey in motherhood. She said her baby’s name is Cy. She named him after American painter Cy Twombly, a favourite of art galleries of Lawrence’s husband Maroney.
The actress said, “It’s so scary to talk about motherhood. Only because it’s so different for everybody, If I say, It was amazing from the start, some people will think, It wasn’t amazing for me at first, and feel bad. Fortunately, I have so many girlfriends who were honest. Who were like, It’s scary. You might not connect right away. You might not fall in love right away. So I felt so prepared to be forgiving.”
The 32-year-old, later on, said, “I remember walking with one of my best friends at, like, nine months, and being like, Everyone keeps saying that I will love my baby more than my cat. But that’s not true. Maybe I’ll love him as much as my cat?”

Furthermore, the actress also expresses love for the newborns, “I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors. Now I love all babies. Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant and I’m like, Awwww, precioussss.”
However, she didn’t say much about her upcoming projects. She was last seen in the Netflix film ‘Don’t Look Up’ alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep.
