On Saturday, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married each other in Las Vegas. After almost 20 years of their love story, the couple finally tied the knot. In 2004, Lopez and Affleck ended their engagement. However, they got back together last year, In addition to this, Jennifer Lopez, popularly known as JLo, changed her name to Jennifer Affleck.
In 2002, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got engaged. On January 22, 2004, the couple ended their engagement. Both of them went their separate ways, married different people, and had kids. After almost 20 years, they reunited last year and got engaged in April 2022. Before this, Jennifer Lopez was engaged to the former baseball player, Alex Rodriguez. Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner for almost 15 years prior to Lopez.
The couple got married at a chapel in Nevada
Lopez’s close friend and hair stylist Chris Appletown shared a glimpse of her bridal look on Instagram. Chris shared a video of Jennifer twirling in a simple white wedding gown and wrote, “last minute feelings before the wedding”. In the video, we can hear Chris ask Jennifer how she is feeling. To this, Jennifer replies “I’m feeling amazing”. Talking about the dress, the singer says, “I’ve been saving it, saving it, saving it and now I’m finally wearing it on my wedding day”.
Jennifer and Ben announced their marriage in a newsletter. According to the newsletter, the couple married each other at a chapel in Nevada, Las Vegas. The couple also got their marriage license. Jennifer wrote in the newsletter, “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. Exactly what we wanted”. She also addressed herself as ‘Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck’”. Lopez and Affleck obtained their marriage license from Clark County dated July 16.
