We have a new update on the health condition of Marvel star Jeremy Renner. The actor was hospitalized after a snow plowing accident, which took place on 1st January at Reno, Nevada. The actor was immediately taken to hospital after the incident. On January 2, His rep shared an update on his health with The Deadline magazine.
Jeremy Renner had undergone surgery and is now in stable condition
As per sources of Deadline, the 51-year-old’s rep said he is in stable condition after undergoing surgery. The statement follows, “We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd, 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.”
Later on, according to the statement of Deadline, Renner’s family thanked his fans by sending their well-wishes. The rep shared, “Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families. They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
On top of that, the actor’s Marvel co-actor Mark Ruffalo also paired for his recovery via an Instagram story. The 55-year-old penned, “Prayers up for our brother @jeremyrenner on a full and speedy recovery. Please send healing goodness his way.”
Moreover, previously the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office previously said the actor suffered “traumatic injury” around Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada. The Hawkeye actor also had a home at this place. At around 9 a.m. on January 1, they reportedly worked with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health. Later on, Renner was transported via care flight to a local hospital.
On the day of this incident, the actor’s representative Sam Mast opened up about his condition .”We can confirm Jeremy is hospitalized in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today. His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”
