As per the reports of TMz, The Jonas Brothers member and Game of Thrones star have officially reached a settlement in their divorce on September 10 nearly one year after parting their ways. Although the terms of the finalization is marked confidential due to the privacy of the former couple, the judge reportedly already signed off on their agreement. The news of the duo’s separation nearly comes a year after they called it quits in September 2023 as Joe files for divorce. At that time the couple even released a statement via their official Instagram to confirm the news.
The ‘Cake By the Ocean’ singer and the ‘Dark Phoenix’ alum said in a joint stage, “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
Moreover, a court document of the pair also noted “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”
The docs also pointed out , “it is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility.” Furthermore, the petition also requested for a “timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties” and the “child support obligation of each party.”
Despite going amicable in the beginning a feud started to rise up regarding the custody battle of their two kids Willa, 3, and Delphine, 2. Turned filed a lawsuit against her estranged husband for preventing their children, who are both U.S. and U.K. citizens, from returning to “their habitual residence of England” by holding their passports.
