Julia Fox is an open book now. The actress revealed a shocking fact in a November 21 Tiktok. She revealed the reason for dating controversial rapper Kanye West. Previously on November 7, she said during an episode of the podcast High Low with EmRata that dating Kanye really affected her career.
Julia Fox dated Kanye to get him off Kim’s way
On November 21, in a Tik Tok Fox said when Kanye first approached her she didn’t think anything was wrong. Also, she talked about her admiration for Kim Kardashian.
“First of all, the man was being normal around me. Not only that but the Kardashians, when I had a fashion line ten years ago they actually bought our clothes and sold them in their stores so I’ve always had a love for Kim especially.”- she revealed.
However, Fox doesn’t really want to answer West. As she said, “I remember he was texting me and I wasn’t really answering, And I didn’t want to talk to a celebrity again because nothing ever comes of it, it’s boring and they are not what you think they are going to be like.”
Eventually, the 32-year-old realized she might have been doing a big favor to Kim. “Then I had this thought. I was like, ‘Oh my god, maybe I can get him off Kim’s case and get him to like me. And I knew if anyone could do it, it would be me because when I set my mind to something I do it.”-the Uncut Gems actress added.
During this time Kim Kardashian was dating comedian Pete Davidson. Kanye faced a lot of backlash for firing off several humiliating Instagram posts directed at Pete. However, the couple broke up after nine months of being together.
