Halloween isn’t Happy anymore! On the 27th of October while celebrating Halloween more than 150 people were killed in a crowd crash in Seoul. One of the casualties included K-Pop Singer Lee Ji-han. He was only 24 years old. Most of the victims were between the ages of 20-35. President Yoon Suk-yeol announced a day of mourning in the country to give tribute to the victims. Lee Ji-han is only 24 years old at the time of his death
K-Pop singer Lee Ji-han was only 24 years old at the time of his death. The following day his agency 935 Entertainment released a statement confirming his tragic passing. The statement follows,”We are sad to deliver such news today, but Lee Ji-han has passed away in the crush in Itaewon last night.We would like to express our deepest condolences to his family, who are saddened by the sudden tragic news, also to everyone who loved him.”
Later on, they continued, “Lee Ji-han brightly smiled when greeting us all the time. He had pure and positive energy with great passion for acting. It is very hard to believe that we cannot see him anymore. Please send your warm goodbye to Lee Ji-han. He’ll always be remembered.”
Ji-han is a participant in a Korean singing competition Produce 101
Ji-han loved singing and acting from a very young age. The young artists rose to fame as contestants in the Korean singing competition Produce 101. The competition is for a spot in a boy band. Further on, he made his acting debut in the 2019 comedy series, Today Was Another Nam Hyun Day.
The passing of such a young and talented future star broke the heart of k-pop fans all around. Social media stormed with condolences for the singer’s family and friends.
