In an interview, director and producer Karan Johar revealed that he shed tears when actress Alia Bhatt told him about her pregnancy. He further said that she came to his office and gave him a hug when he started crying. Johar also said that he can’t wait to hold Bhatt’s baby in his arms.
Last month, the actor announced her pregnancy via an Instagram post. She is married to actor Ranbir Kapoor. Bhatt posted a picture from an ultrasound appointment with the caption, “Our baby ….. coming soon.” In addition, she also posted a picture of two lions and their lion cub. Under the post, Karan Johar commented, “Heart is bursting” with the red heart emojis. He said in an interview that after Alia broke the news of her pregnancy, he started crying and the actor gave him a hug. He couldn’t believe that Alia was having a baby.
Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut in Johar’s film, Student of the Year (2012). The film also stars Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. The duo is again collaborating for Johar’s upcoming project titled Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Apart from this, Alia Bhatt will also appear on Koffee With Karan alongside Ranveer Singh.
