Prince William won’t return to public engagements until Princess Kate is settled
The statement of the palace confirms, “She is making good progress, The Prince and Princess wish to say a huge thank you to the entire team at The London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing staff, for the care they have provided. The Wales family continues to be grateful for the well wishes they have received from around the world.”
Moreover, a close source of the Royal family told Entertainment Tonight about the current plans of the Prince of Wales. The source added he “has temporarily stepped back from his royal duties in order to care for his wife and it’s not expected that he will return to engagements immediately.”
William who shares three children — Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 with Kate is making his wife “first priority and he won’t return to public engagements until Princess Kate is settled.”
He also added, “William visited his wife nearly every day while she was recuperating at the hospital, slipping in quietly to spend time with her.”
Moreover, the source continues, “William has also been doing the drop-off and pick up at Lambrook School. The Prince and Princess of Wales have wanted to keep it as normal as possible for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.”

The news of the 42-year-old’s condition was first announced on January 17 by Kensington Palace, “The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery, Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”
