Kendrick Lamar is all set to make a grand entry to the NFL’s biggest musical stage as the main act. On September 8, the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation announced the rapper’s comeback at the 2025 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The rapper also shared a Super Bowl Show promo video on his Instagram to share the incredible news with his fans.
The 17-time Grammy winner performed at the popular event in 2022 along with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Dr. Dre. Needless to say, this will undoubtedly be an exciting moment for his fans. Let’s explore some more details about the upcoming event.
Kendrick Lamar on coming back as the main act at Super Bowl
The 37-year-old said in the promo video, “My name is Kendrick Lamar, and I’ll be performing at Super Bowl 59. Will you be pullin’ up? I hope so. You know there’s only one opportunity to win the championship. No round twos. Let’s get it! Boom!”
The ‘Not Like Us’ rapper added, “I wouldn’t want you to miss it. Meet me in New Orleans, on February 9th, 2025.”
This isn’t the first time the rapper will be on the Stage of the Super Bowl, as in 2022, he impressed the audience with his performance.
Roc Nation founder Jay-Z even hailed Lamar as a “once-in-a-generation artist and performer.
“His deep love for hip-hop and culture informs his artistic vision,” the hip-hop sensation noted.”He has an unparalleled ability to define and influence culture globally. Kendrick’s work transcends music, and his impact will be felt for years to come.”
