Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are living their fairytale marriage. The Footloose actor and The Closer star recently reached the 35-year milestone in their marriage. On September 4, Bacon shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram account of spending more than three decades together. Needless to say, the post will melt your heart.

Bacon wrote along with a throwback photo with his wife, “35 years feels like a heartbeat #Anniversary.”
Simultaneously, Sedgwick shared her own tribute writing, “Happy 35 my love.”
The classic couple first started their romance in 1987- on the set of Lemon Sky and parents to son Travis Bacon, 34, and daughter Sosie Bacon, 31.
A few days before Kevin in an interview with Today, shared some insights on his and the actress’s anniversary celebration.
“We didn’t do much,” he said. “We had had our kids for a long weekend—which was just absolutely sublime—the kids and their partners.”
“We took a long walk, and I got blisters because the shoes were new and I didn’t really realize that we were going to walk to dinner but we did,” the actress continued. “We walked probably, I don’t know, 30 blocks or something like that to dinner, and then I had blisters and then she put a Band-Aid on my blisters. So it was really kind of indicative of 35 years of marriage.”
Previously, the Edge of Seventeen actress also revealed the process of falling in love with her husband.
“If someone had told me when I was 21 that by the time I was 23, I would be married and have my first child, I would’ve told them that they were f–king insane,” Kyra told in a 2019 interview with Vulture. “I was living on my own, making my own money. I was like, ‘I’m fiercely independent.'”
The actress added, “So when I did fall in love with Kevin, it really just felt like there was some urgency to get married, and I don’t know what it was. Suddenly this thing came over me and I was terrified. Because I didn’t count on people.”
