The trailer of Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor starrer ‘Khel Khel Main’ is finally out. Directed by Mudassar Aziz the film is an official remake of the acclaimed Italian comedy-drama Perfect Strangers which was released in 2016. With this comic caper, Akshay Kumar is reuniting with his ‘Mission Mangal’ and ‘Bell Bottom’ co-stars Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor. Marked the first-ever collaboration between Akshay and director Mudassar, this film will start premiering theatres on the auspicious occasion of Indian Independence Day on 15th August. What is in the ‘Khel Khel Main’ trailer?
The trailer starts with a group of friends who with their spouses come together to have a fun night. As the women discussed, every man holds secrets that are notable within the ‘boys group’. In order to clear up the tension Vaani Kapoor’s character who is the wife of Akshay Kumar suggested that they should play a game and as per its rules every time whatever calls or messages come to one’s phone they have to share with the entire group.
Earlier this week the makers first announced the possibility of releasing the trailer soon.
One of the members of the team even unveiled that the trailer will come out on August 2. On top of that, the anonymous person also shared that the trailer will be filled with gags and thrives on unfolding the core plot of this film to the audience for the first time.
Needless to say, their prophecy is quite true as the 3 minutes 8 seconds has numerous fun and interesting moments.
Certified by the U/A the Central Board of Film Certification and co-producers Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, and Rajesh Bahl, the star cast includes numerous popular and talented actors such as Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal.
After back-to-back disappointment at the box office, this film could be a good chance for Akshay Kumar to make a great comeback. However, the film is heading towards a clash with two other much-hyped movies like Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s horror-comedy Stree 2, and John Abraham’s action-packed movie Vedaa. Only time will tell if it’ll be successful to leave a mark or not.
