The health battle of the royals seems never ending. Hours after the British monarch was released from the London hospital the Buckingham Palace shared the devastating news with the world. The palace shared King Charles III has been diagnosed with a form of Cancer. On February 4, the monarch and his wife Camilla greeted his well-wishers after leaving the service at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate. Previously he was admitted to the class clinic following a corrective procedure on his prostate. Let’s check out the complete details of this story.
The Statement revealed Charles’s subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer
The statement of the palace reads, “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer. His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.”
However, the monarch is unlikely to take any break from his duty in spite of the diagnosis.
“Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual,” the statement continued. “The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.”
The statement therefore concluded revealing the King’s decision for unveiling the news, “His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation,” the statement concluded, “and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”
His majesty the King is treated at the same hospital where the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton has undergone an abdominal surgery.
Although the Princess has been released from the hospital from January 29th, Her Royal Highness and her husband Prince William are unlikely to return anytime soon.
“She is making good progress,” Kensington Palace confirmed in a statement . “The Prince and Princess wish to say a huge thank you to the entire team at The London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing staff, for the care they have provided. The Wales family continues to be grateful for the well wishes they have received from around the world.”
Following this day the King’s acknowledgement message for his well-wishers also came out.
“His Majesty would like to thank the medical team and all those involved in supporting his hospital visit,” the Palace said, “and is grateful for all the kind messages he has received in recent days.”
