Lady Gaga is all set to enter the Nevermore Academy!
As per Entertainment Weekly, the “Die With a Smile” singer joins the cast of Netflix’s hit series Wednesday. To your surprise, Gaga has also started filming the series. The cast includes Jenna Ortega as the titular Wednesday Addams, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Gwendoline Christie as Larissa Weems, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, and Emma Myers as Wednesday’s polar-opposite best friend Enid Sinclair. For the unknown Ortega as previously hinted at Gaga’s appearance in the series

Jenna Ortega on Lady Gaga’s casting on Wednesday Season 2
In January 2023 during an interview with Variety, Ortega who is also serving as a co-producer of the movie hinted that Gaga might appear in season two of Wednesday.
“I think Mrs. Thornhill and Wednesday had this weird mentor relationship or kind of understood each other in a certain way,” the Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice alum said, “so, if Lady Gaga were to be a part, I think it would have to be two monsters that understand each other.”
In fact, Ortega isn’t the only one to find a connection between Gaga and the Netflix blockbuster. After the release of season one, social media users made a viral trend by blending the choreography from a dance scene in episode four to the ‘Poker Face’ singer’s song “Bloody Mary.”
It has become so popular that it even reached Gaga, who herself created her own video performing the dance number.
The X actress even detailed the reason Gaga’s reaction is a full-circle moment for the actress as she has always been a great admirer of her.
“A long time ago, I worked with a hairdresser that worked with Gaga,” the 22-year-old said, “and I just had seen Gaga in concert a few years before.”
She added, “the hairdresser got Gaga to make me a video saying she heard I was a fan, Gaga made me a sweet video. I doubt she remembers. But to see her to do that now…it’s one of those moments you realize life changes really fast.”
If things go well, we’ll see them sharing screens soon. As per the reports, season 2 of this much-anticipated series will hit the streaming platform in September 2025.
