Life can’t be perfect anymore for 1D fans!
Former One Direction member Liam Payne who passed away at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel in Argentina has been going through numerous issues before his tragic death. It was revealed by none other than the singer’s ex-fiancée, Maya Henry earlier this month. After the news of Payne’s death blew up, an old Tik-Tok of Henry posted on October 6 went viral where she’s addressing the issues related to her ex’s life. As per Henry he even predicted his early death back then. Here are the complete details of the segment:
Maya Henry slammed ex Liam Payne’s conversation as manipulation tactics
At the October 6 episode of her ‘The Internet Is Dead’ podcast, the model and influencer, who dated the singer from 2018 to 2022 talked about his mental health and the alleged abuse he put her through after they parted ways.
Maya said, “He would always message me ever since we broke up saying, ‘Oh, I’m not well. He would always play with death and be like, ‘Well, I’m going to die. I’m not doing well.'”
The influencer mentioned Payne’s communications as a “manipulation tactic” in order to make her feel awful for him.
“There was one time I tried to get him help and then he was not taking it,” she added. “He would text my mom, ‘I’m not doing well, have Maya contact me,’ because I wouldn’t respond. It’s just always the same cycle.”
Maya even revealed at the time of the release of her fictional book, ‘Looking Forward’ which is inspired by her relationship with Liam, his friends warning her not to publish the book.
The model noted, “I don’t play with death. If you say this, I’m going to try and help you no matter what you’ve done. I think he took advantage of my family’s kindness.”
Liam’s one friend threatened her to not publish the book for the sake of his mental health.
Moreover, Maya who sent a cease-and-desist letter to her ex earlier this month noted that despite her trying to help him, his behavior turned exploitative.
“He would always just say, ‘I’m so sorry for everything I’ve done. I can’t live with myself,’ but then is continuing to try and traumatize me,” she added.
She continues, “I know the lifestyle he lives, and there is a day when something bad is going to happen, so I would always be like, ‘OK, he’s saying these things, I have to help him because if I don’t I won’t be able to live with myself if something does happen to him.’”
Henry is currently facing a lot of backlash for the viral video.
