Lily Collins’ Husband Charlie McDowell Opened Up About Their Exciting Family Planning

Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell have some exciting plans for their future. In an interview with E! News, the writer and director of The Summer Book shared that he and his wife might extend their family in recent years. Simultaneously, the duo is also busy making movie magic together on The Summer Book where The Emily in Paris star is an executive producer. The couple who kept their romance out of the spotlight got engaged in 2020 and tied the knot the next year at Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado. Let’s see what Charlie said in the interview.

Charlie McDowell discussed the significance of his wife in his life 

The Dear White People director told the entertainment portal while asked about their future plans of starting a family, “We would like to. We would like to move into that next stage, so we’ll see when it happens!”

As for now, the couple is going strong being each other’s supporters professionally as well.  Despite the actress missing the screening of their upcoming project The Summer Book, he revealed her contribution to the venture in detail.

“I would fall into a dark hole of nothingness without her,” the 41-year-old added. “She’s amazing. She was there the whole time we were shooting in Finland and supporting as a partner and also as an executive producer.”

Due to being busy making her West End debut for Barcelona “otherwise she would be here,” as Charlie emphasizes. “She’s been incredible support for the film.”

The couple who made their relationship official in 2019  has been living a happily married life for three years now. In 2022, the  To the Bone actress unveiled the secret of their happy married life despite going through several ups and downs.

“We can kind of conquer anything,” the 35-year-old said in an interview. “We’ve been through so many changes globally, personally, and to be able to have a partner next to you that makes you laugh in times when you need it the most and helps you emotionally get through things, like moving to a foreign country for four months.”

She continues, “I just feel so grateful that I have someone next to me to be able to accomplish that and your best friend with you all the time.”
