During her recent appearance on the red carpet for the 15th annual Governor’s Awards on Nov. 17 the actress noted how dating life’s been going. The couple who first confirmed their relationship last May has always been quite private about their personal life. Although they often share some of their special moments on social media.
Let’s check out what Rose Depp has said about her beau.
Lily-Rose Depp gushed over her Girlfriend
The 25-year-old who graced the red carpet of the 15th annual Governor’s Awards noted that their romance is “kind of je ne sais quoi” which means a special distinguishing feature, or indescribable quality.
She added, “You can’t describe that kind of feeling” and also revealed that she’s very happy with her partner.
Lily, who is the daughter of Johnny Depp and ex Vanessa Paradis, first confirmed their romance in May 2023. Since then the actress has always publically gushed about her girlfriend’s musical talent.
Depp said of the “Escapism” rapper’s new album Petrichor, “I feel like there’s not enough time in these interviews to really sum it up, But I’m incredibly proud. She’s incredibly talented.”
In fact, Lily herself has been part of her partner’s career as she appeared in Shake’s music video for “Winter Baby / New Jersey Blues,” dancing to the tune in a shimmering retro dive bar.
Sharing some glimpses of BTS of the shooting the rapper wrote on Instagram Oct. 15, “With my muse. Just having fun.”
For her part, Lily also gushed over being part of her girlfriend’s work.
The King star wrote on her Instagram, “Got a call about being Shake’s video girl. I’m so proud of U baby <3 This was such a special day & such a family affair, thank you to all our incredible friends who made this happen.”
Amid these few glimpses, the couple mostly maintain privacy about their personal life which can be credited to Lily’s upbringing out of the spotlight.
In 2021, the actress shared in the talk show of Drew Barrymore,”The value of privacy is something that’s been instilled in me from an early age. Growing up in a family like I did, it was always something that was—I always learned the importance of privacy and valuing that and keeping things just for yourself. That’s something that I’ve carried on into my own career and that’s really important to me.”
