Lukas Gage slams the cheating rumors following her separation from husband Chris Appleton. On November 17, nearly seven months after their marriage Appleton filed for divorce which shocked their entire fandom. Numerous A-listers including Appleton’s pal Kim Kardashian and her daughter North West were also present at the wedding. Gage is now reflecting about the whirlwind romance and breakup from her estranged husband. On March 19 during her appearance on Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. Lukas Gage said he had a manic episode for six months
The Euphoria alum said on the show, “I had a manic episode for six months, I don’t know what went through my head, but we live and we learn.”
Lukas and the Color Wow global creative walked down the aisle last April in a lavish Las Vegas wedding with a-listers like Kim Kardashian in attendance. Later on, nearly seven months after the wedding, Appleton filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Right after the news came out about their divorce the rumours of Lukas’s cheating started to heat up. However, in the show the White Lotus alum cleared the air by saying, “There was no cheating,” explained, “Andy, there’s a three-letter thing that I signed.”
Although the actor kept numb about the reason behind the breakup.
Moreover, the 28-year-old added that his decision to get married to the 40-year-old was impulsive.
“That was probably one of the most unhinged things I’ve ever done in my life,” Lukas joked, “I’ll probably have six other marriages.”
Despite a short timed romance the former couple did share some sweet words to say about each other during their relationship.
“I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love,” Lukas told Today in March 2023. “He’s a good-looking man.”
As for Chris during accepting the Hair Artist of the Year honor at The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards he thanked the actor by saying, “Thank you to Lukas for being my rock and putting up with me, And making me feel perfect when I know I’m not.”
At the time of their wedding Chris wrote on alongside a ring emoji, “We did it. Big thank you to @kimkardashian & @shaniatwain.”
Meanwhile, Lukas shared a post with a caption,”Ring finger where the rock is.”
Needless to say, some stories don’t always be happily ever after.
