TV’s much-loved comedy show ‘Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge’ celebrated Indian cinema with its ‘Bollywood Meri Jaan’ special last Saturday. Ace comedian Mubeen Saudagar accompanied the seasoned comedians for this hilarious episode. In every act, they paid tribute to iconic Bollywood movies in the form of hilarious performances. Showing a humorous twist to the iconic Indian movie Bahubali comedians Hemangi Kavi, Kushal Badrike, Gaurav More and Inder Sahini in their infused version of Rajmata, Katappa, Kalkay, and Baahu have made everyone laugh out loud. Along with the audience the Madness Ki Malkin Huma Qureshi also become spellbound with their powerful performance. Let’s check out what she had said.
Huma Qureshi called the act a power- packed performance
Qureshi showered the act with praises by calling it a “power- packed performance!”
Talking about the gig, Hemangi Kavi previously said, “To prepare for this spoof, I watched the movie multiple times to capture the essence of Rajmata for our hilarious take on the film. Working alongside Kushal, Gaurav, and Inder was so much fun; our off-screen chemistry translated seamlessly on stage.”
He continues, “Viewers should definitely watch this gag because it’s a unique blend of humour, creativity, and homage to a beloved film. We’ve infused our own comedic flair into the Bahubali story, and it surely will entertain the viewers.”
Earlier, Kushal has also noted, “I’m very excited about the upcoming gag, it’s a hilarious take on a scenario that every Indian married man can relate to with the poor Navra just wanting to watch a match, but he’s caught in the middle of a classic saas-bahu showdown.”
He also explained,“The struggle to balance the tasks of a mother and a wife is something many men have experienced in their daily lives. Working again with Atisha Naik ji and Hemangi Kavi has been an absolute blast; their energy brings so much fun to the set.”
However, despite the praises producer-director Karan Johar called out an act on the show. He also shared on Instagram to share his views, “I was sitting and watching television with my mom and saw a promo of a reality comedy show on a supposedly respectable channel. a comic was mimicking me in exceptionally poor taste… I expect this from trolls and faceless and nameless people, but when your own industry can disrespect someone who has been in the business for over 25 years, it speaks volumes about the times we live in. This doesn’t even anger me; it just makes sad.” The actor who portrayed Karan Joha in the show has now apologized to the director.”
Madness Machayenge India Ko Hasayenge is aired every Saturday at 9:30 PM.
