- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup mango purée
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- A big bowl to mix up everything
The Protocol to be followed for making a delicious mango cake step by step is as follows:
- Firstly, mix up all the dry ingredients together: flour, baking powder and baking soda.
- Set this aside. Next, whisk up oil and sugar until the sugar dissolves and then add the mango purée and vanilla essence.
- Mix well and slowly add the dry mixture in two batches.
- Gently fold in the flour, do not overmix. Add milk as required and keep folding everything. Do not whisk, and avoid lumps.
- Fold only until you get a smooth, lump-free batter.
- You can add 1-2 drops of yellow food coloring to the batter too. Pour this batter into a dusted cake tin and decorate with Choco-chips and sprinkles.
- Bake this beautiful cake in oven at 180℃ for 30-35 minutes.
