The ‘hot girl’ lit up the stage at SNL. American rapper Megan Thee Stallion makes her hosting debut at the Saturday Night Show on October 16. The rapper talked about acting and even said she can do a great British accent. Her last produced song ‘Sweetest Pie’, a collaboration with Dua Lipa, gained lots of praise. Megan features in various sketches of the show, including a medical drama parody skit called “Hot Girl Hospital”. Alongside SNL cast members Punkie Johnson and Ego Nwodim. Later on, she also performed her three songs “Anxiety,” “NDA” and “Plan B.”
Megan Thee Stallion throws away herself for Bridgerton
During her monologue Stallion throws away herself for a role in Netflix’s popular period drama Bridgerton. “I don’t want to toot my own horn or nothing, but I think I do a pretty good British accent, All right, check this out. Put me in Bridgerton, bitch.”- the 27-year-old said.
Later on in the SNL monologue, she talked about her nicknames. “We’ve got Tina Snow, the Hot Girl Coach and the H-Town Hottie, And if you’re one of my many, many haters, I’m probably, ugh, That Bitch.”- she added.
Stallion acted on screen numerous times including the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. She played herself in the September episode of the show. As per the reports, an estimated $300,000 to $400,000 in jewellery, cash and electronic devices were stolen from her house.
However, the rapper’s time isn’t going too well since her Los Angeles home was burglarized while she was away. This incident took place hours after she hosted the show. Stallion confirmed her safety.
“Material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe.”- she tweeted addressing the incident.
5 minutes after this tweet Stallion announced her break from SNL in a tweet. “Hotties im really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break I’m so tired, physically and emotionally.”
