Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Docuseries will hit Netflix this December before the Christmas holidays. This anticipated series is directed by oscar-nominated director Liz Garbus. The news is confirmed by People Magazine. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently enjoying parenting their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.
Meghan Markle previously revealed how she and Prince Harry trust the Director Garbus
The former suit alum along with her husband Prince Harry signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in 2020.
The 41-year-old Duchess in October 2020 talked about her admiration towards the director of the series Garbus.
“It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story—a seasoned director whose work I’ve long admired—even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it. But that’s not why we’re telling it. We’re trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens.”- the former actress said.
However, it was revealed after the death of Queen Elizabeth II that major edits were made to the series.
Markle said the filming process for the series reminds her of old working days in Suits
In the October edition of Variety, the duchess becomes candid about her old days as an actress. She played paralegal-turned-lawyer Rachel Zane from 2011 to 2018 on the famous series Suits.
“It’s interesting. My husband has never worked in this industry before. For me, having worked on Suits, it’s so amazing to be around so much creative energy and to see how people work together and share their own points of view. That’s been really fun.”- the Sussex royal revealed.
However, the name of the series hasn’t been announced yet.
The couple got married in a lavish royal ceremony in 2018 at St George’s Chapel. Prince Harry is the second son of King Charles III and his former wife, the late Princess Diana.
The couple stepped out from royal duties in January 2020.
