Meghan Markle used to be a certified Real Housewife wife. The Duchess of Sussex reveals all the things to stop watching Real Housewives with the show’s executive producer Andy Cohen on the finale of her podcast Archetypes on Nov 29.
Meghan Markle said her real-life drama stops her from watching the reality Show
On the 29th Final episode of her podcast, Archetypes the former actress confessed the reason for quitting watching the popular reality show. “I stopped watching the Housewives when my life had its own level of drama, that I stopped craving…”-the 41-year-old said.”I get why it was such a huge, huge part of pop culture.”
Megan later on, continued “Almost every one of my friends still watches it, and I go, ‘Why are you watching that? There’s so much drama and it’s because it’s entertainment. It’s entertaining to them, and it’s also, I think it’s so familiar because it’s been on for so long.”
Furthermore, her guest show executive producer Andy Cohen added to her statement “judge other people’s behaviors in a guilt-free way without feeling bad about it, It’s like an excuse to gossip about friends who aren’t really our friends.”
The Duchess also admitted to planning an appearance on Watch What Happens Live years ago. Cohen hilariously said, “And now, I can’t even do my pitch to try to get you on Watch What Happens Live, because you just own me, completely.”
Meghan along with her husband Prince Harry all set to release their new Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan’ supposedly at the end of this month. The date isn’t officially revealed yet. “When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”-She said in the teaser released on December 1.
The couple has been in a lot of limelight since their exit from the royal family in 2020. They are currently living in L. A busy parenting son Archie,4, and daughter Lilibet Diana,1.
