Kay Kay Menon’s upcoming series ‘Murshid’ is finally heading towards its release. On August 20, the makers unveiled the poster of the upcoming crime drama where Menon will be seen in a gangster avatar. The show will start streaming on Zee5 from August 30. Apart from talented actors the series also features Zakir Hussain, Rajesh Shringarpure, and Tanuj Virwani in pivotal roles.

From the trailer we can get a sneak peek into the dark and gritty world of Mumbai’s criminal underbelly where retired don Murshid Pathan (Kay Kay Menon) is finding out a way to escape from the vicious world. However, things took a drastic turn after his old rival Farid (Zakir Hussain) engaged Murshid’s son in a dangerous scheme. Therefore, the former gangster jumps into a battle to safeguard his family and secure his legacy.
He also gets support from his adopted son Inspector Kumar Pratap Rana (Tanuj Virwani),. Simultaneously, politician Jayendra also tried to manipulate him.
Needless to say, fans are incredibly excited to see Menon portray such a grey character on-screen.

Actors Kay Kay Menon, Zakir Hussain, and Tanuj Virwani shared their excitement about being part of the movie.
