Natalie Portman gave a brief reaction to her husband Benjamin Millepied’s cheating allegation. On February 21, the Oscar winner sat down for an interview with Variety, where she shared her discomfort and lack of interest addressing her personal life. Portman and Millepied have been married for a decade now and share son Aleph, 12, and daughter Amalia, 6. Natalie Portman has no desire to contribute to it
While talking to the outlet the 42-year-old reacted,”It’s terrible, and I have no desire to contribute to it.”
Although she didn’t spell beans about her personal life she did share insight into splitting her time between Paris and Los Angeles.
“I lead a very non-Hollywood life in L.A.,” she shared. “I live on the east side. I have some friends who are in the entertainment industry, but many friends who are not, and we don’t do industry things when we hang out. We’re not going to Hollywood parties, we’re having dinners at home in the backyard.”
Portman and Millepied first met on the set of her 2010 thriller Black Swan, where the choreographer helped his future wife to adapt the role of an aspiring ballet dancer for which she even won an Academy award for Best Actress.
“My beautiful love,” the actress said on stage while accepting this award, “Benjamin Millepied, who choreographed the film and has now given me my most important role of my life.”
Previously, Portman shared her experience of working with Millepied in a 2018 SiriusXM Town Hall interview.
“I met my husband on it, so I think I was in, like, dreamland,” Portman said. “It seemed pretty fun the whole time. We had a whole, like, he was teaching me to dance.”
“It was definitely exciting and fun,” she continues. “It was beautiful. I don’t know about instant. It was like I really got to know him and that was when it seemed like, ‘Oh, right, this is the person.’”
By the time the film came into theatre the couple were engaged and expecting their first child. They later in 2012 tied the knot at Big Sur, Calif.
At the time a source of E-News revealed, “the beauty of the weekend was that it was kept a secret, and everyone was relaxed and had a great time because of it.”
