A new member has joined the vampire family. Twilight star Nikki Reed and her husband Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder welcomed their second child together. The couple who tied the knot in 2015 are already parents of five years old daughter Bodhi, announced the good news via their Instagram account. Reed revealed in her post that the couple became the parents of a beautiful baby boy.

After a lot of speculation regarding the couple’s pregnancy Reed announced the news in her official Instagram Story on June 29. She wrote along with a photo of her baby boy’s hand, “A few weeks ago we welcomed our son. on what can only be described as one of the most beautiful days of my life.”
However, she didn’t reveal the name of the newborn. She shared that she gave birth to him at their home “surrounded by so much love.”
Moreover, she clarified the late announcement saying she has terms when it comes to social media and her kids.
Five months ago the-35-year-old announced her pregnancy on social media with an adorable picture of a baby bump while holding her daughter on the other hand. Moreover, she credits her husband of eight years for both the photo and the baby.
“2023 celebrating life,” Nikki captioned the post. “Years of dreaming, manifesting and praying over this very moment. So much love. What a gift.”
“As all of you know, I have very strong boundaries with social media, especially when it comes to children and what I choose to put out into the world,” the Thirteen star said about their privacy while preparing for their baby’s birth. “Thank you so much for honoring that, and for sending positivity and kindness and LOVE. Some things are too good not to share :).”
